Food chain

Definition: a series of organisms each dependent on the next as a source of food.



Create 4 food chains using NZ wetlands plants and animals . Use the food chain above as an example.

Grass  ➝ Grasshopper ➝ Bird ➝ Snake ➝ Owl
Grass ➝ Grasshopper ➝ Mouse ➝ Owl

Leaves ➝ Insect ➝ Frog ➝ Snake ➝ Hawk ➝ Mushrooms
