Sierre Leone Mudslide
“Rumble, rumble!!!” I woke up. I couldn’t sleep, my house kept shaking. I went outside to see what was shaking my house. I looked up at a tall mountain, there was a mudslide coming towards us. I tried warning people but they all said I was crazy. I ran back to the mountain with some sticks to try and block it off but it was too late. I closed my eyes as it came rushing towards me, when my best friend Selma pushed me. Selma got stuck in the mud I dived in I couldn’t find her she was gone.

100 word writing challenge #44

Seamore the Seal

I am Seamore the seal, I was swimming peacefully when these humans invaded. I had an brilliant idea, I’d hide behind a huge rock. The humans walked passed I whacked them with my tail. They fell, they all started to fall over each other. I rolled to the shore, I watched quietly as they fell. I laughed uncontrollably. They looked at me, they must have thought I was dying, they ran away. I kept laughing and went back into the ocean. I told everyone about it, we all laughed. Those humans will never come here again we all hoped.

The Magician

The Magician

I open my eyes and think, who did this to me? why am I here? did I do something wrong? I look up slowly at this huge building I had a feeling that I was here once before. I have a flashback to my childhood this was the orphanage that I grew up in. I remembered more the only reason I went in the orphanage was because my family home burnt down. It only burnt down because of me! My mother told me not to use the oven. I escape I but I never saw my little sister or mother again. I put my head in my hands, a single tear came from my eye. I get up and sadly walked and open the dark oak door and saw, a picture of me as a kid. I turned around “Slam” the door loudly shut, I run up to it I pull and pull but the door was locked. I look at the stairs, with a thought, who locked me in here? I need to get out. I cautiously went up the stairs. I see my childhood self running down the stairs, I watch him, he went through some boxes. I remember there was a back door to the yard. I quickly went down the stairs, and I moved the boxes. In the boxes I saw rusty old trophies, dusty art and board games I liked chest the best. I liked learning new strategies to win the game. I finally moved all the boxes and found the back door. I open the door, with a fancy golden knob, and carefully crept out the garden.  There was a rusty fence, with a little brown gate, I walk towards it. There was a creepy voice calls me back to the building. I have a feeling like there more in the orphanage, that meant to be me, but why? I kept going up the stairs then I saw my little old bed. On my bed there was a little teddy bear with a nametag that said Mr J. Stuffington. I loved he as a kid he was my favorite toy. I was heading to go up more when a gust of wind came out of nowhere. I look out through the window there was a tornado of wind it was huge. I could was it it couldn’t be… my mother and sister? I run down the stairs to the back door. I got to the front of the orphanage but I  kept getting pushed back the winds was very strong. I kept running and running towards it but the wind pushed me back into a puddle. My clothes were soaked I looked up the tornado of wind kept getting bigger and bigger. I saw books and leaves everywhere on the ground I noticed an umbrella I had an ideal. I grabbed the umbrella and climb up the ladder beside the orphanage then I made it to the top of the orphanage. I jumped the wind blew into the inside of my umbrella pushing me up. I was up above the tornado I didn’t notice it before but there was a person at bottom of the tornado. In the stranger's hand I saw a stick it looked like the stranger was controlling the tornado. I was above my mother and sister but I didn’t think about how to get them down. I let go of the umbrella I fell right through I was right beside the stranger and tackled him. The tornado stopped everything fell including my mother and sister. I grabbed his stick and pointed it at my mother and sister they gracefully glided down, they looked as light as a feather. I looked at the stranger as he got he looked like me? He spoke
“I am no stranger I am the magician or what you call me your conscience”. Really I thought
“I will bring you back to your world” he said.
“I have one question why did you bring me here” I said.
“I brought you here so that you know that it wasn’t your fault that your house burn down, nothing was your fault and that you should have no regret. I said
“When you go back you will not remember this every happened and you mother and sister will be with you” he said

He grabbed his stick and started floated he zapped us and we were back. Now I can live a happy life with my family once again and will not have any regret.

Whale Fantasia

Whale Fantasia

I loved exploring I could never keep still. I am now swimming in the Pacific Ocean I felt like a fish. With my two friends Erin and Mandy we explore the unknown. We went in and out of caves swimming past schools of fish. We gracefully glide through the water under all the waves. They looked like white clouds getting pushed by the wind. I twist and turn as the sun shone brightly through the water. I felt as if I was in a dream. I swim above coral and sand I felt like I was flying. I touched some sea weed it was as slimy as a slug.

As we ventured deeper and deeper into the unknown, the light of the sun is becoming dim. Their was outstanding fish in all different colours. I guess they can see just fine in the dark parts of the ocean. We all swam up to see the light of day when we all saw something big swim past. We all started swimming to it. We were right behind it when all of a sudden it stopped. We all swam in front of it and then out of nowhere two other whales came.

They were a family it was an amazing site. The whales looked so majestic we touched their skin it felt as hard as concrete. One of the whales did a twirl with it’s stomach up. We could see all the barnacles stuck to it, they looked dull and bumpy. The barnacles looked like sand with rocks in it.

All of us twist and twirled as the whales made boisterous noises. They swam down deeper into the ocean they got smaller as they swam away . Now I can tell the tale about how I swam with whale. There was still lots and lots of ocean to explore. But we all guessed that our adventure was over. We swam to the surface it was late afternoon. We told everyone about our adventure and I will always remember the time I swam with whales.

The Ridge

The Ridge
As I rowed my canoe across the ocean look at the sea lions swimming I look at the ridge. I arrived at land I took a big gulp because today I am going to ride up the ridge. I got my mountain bike and I was off I was shaking, because there was a chance that I would come back down. There was rocks and tight turns but that was OK because I love the challenge. I kept riding until I got to a stream so I jump it and risk getting hurt or go around the long way. I took a big risk but I made I could see other little streams I knew I could do them as well. As I road up the mountain it kept getting steamer and steamer.   Till the point go that I couldn’t ride my bike anymore so I started to run. I was hard with the weight of my bike but I kept going. I made it to a flat part of the mountain I was feeling peckish. So I grabbed some food and water from my bag and then I went up more. I made to the top and looked down I was above all the cloud. I took a big gulp and went down. It was bumpy but fun it was hard to keep my balance. I arrived but to the beach but there was a fence in my way. If I can ride up that mountain I can get over this fence. I pressed my front wheel to the fence I did a front flip. I layed down on the beach I watched the sun go down. Now I can tell people about my amazing adventure.

This is writing from last week it was about a man named Danny Macaskill riding up the isle of skye.

But Then The Flash Made Me…

I’ve been working on this invention for weeks and I’ve cracked it. I Barry Oaklyn has almost made a connection with aliens. With my machine the Best Alien Locater Device or B.A.L.D for short. I can connect with aliens I turned it on. I looked in the night sky the aliens were coming but they were coming in too fast. They crashed I looked around in the shuttle.  There was a flash of light I walked closer to it. But then the flash made me one of them!
“Ahhhh”! I woke up it was all a dream.
