  1. Hi Makaea,

Ruby here from the Summer Learning Journey program!

What good ideas for food! I'm sure they would enjoy all those very much. My favourite would be the M&M's. I think they're delicious.

Would you take them anything other than food? They are recovering from the great depression and don't have much money for all the things! I think I would also take shoes, socks, and maybe a few other things as well. What do you think?

I look forward to reading more of your blog over the summer.
    Cheers,
    Ruby.

  2. Hey Makaea,

This is Jade C from the Summer Learning Journey :)

I would love to receive some cadbury chocolates because they are my favourite brand and I love chocolates! People from the great depression would be starving for nice food like the ones you have listed above. Shapes, biscuits, and waffles have a lot of carbohydrate which is essential daily nutrition for everyone to live and survive. Then there are sweets like M&M's and chocolates that would provide some extra boost of energy for them to be happy and active.

I would also include some warm socks (those thick ones you wear in winter), warm scarves, and torches (so they can see in the dark). How about you? What other things would you bring?

I hope to read more of your amazing activity blog posts :)

    Have a great day.

    Jade C.
