Creating your own kayak

WALT: make connection with what we already know with what we read

I have chosen Black Slalom C1 kayak with a black base and a white outline. I have chosen to place 4 white stars at the front  and three white stars at the back.

I think my kayak would be brought by a parent wanting to get their kid in kayaking. It’s simple but I think that the people would like the stars.

Fractions

                      

I have learnt the names of fractions and what they look like. It took me a while to find shapes that the fractions be even on.

For reading I have been learning about life jackets and sailing here is a diagram of how much life jackets have change over the years. It was really fun to learn about life jacket I can't believe how much they have changed.

Interland

WALT be cybersmart using a game called Interland. In this game there are 4 different cyber worlds each focussing on a different part of cyber smart. The green mountain which is the one we started with is about being kind and caring. I got to the top of this mountain and scored 235 see my screenshot below.

Then I decided to have a go at the Mindful Mountain which is about who you share your personal information with.

I enjoyed learning about cyber smart by using this game.
