The Science Roadshow

The Science Roadshow

Today at school The Science Roadshow came over. We went along with 7 TZ to watch the show. We were presented by Shane and Anna. The first thing they taught us was about fire and ice and the one thing they had in common temperature. First they showed us how low and how hot temperatures can get in some places in new. Also how dangerous it can be in a car on a hot summer day. They showed us how the same chemical can react differently when exposed to oxygen. They melted a solid piece of metal with the different heat of fire. They showcased how smoking can cause a explosion on factories.

After that we were allowed to walk around and try some the experiments. By some the  experiment there was cards. With the names on some experiments and ha to explain it to the teachers. There was a variety of things to do. Here are some pictures.

A camera the shows body heat.

A chair that spins fast but then slows down when spreading your arms.

Seeing how important your senses are.

Afterwards another person came in and taught us about how human and plants bodies work. He talked about urine and how much the human body can produce. He also showed how plants deal with their urine by dropping it down in a leaf. Then showed us how much poo a human can have in a year. Then at the end they told us to remember Mrs Gren.
Movement, Respiration, Sensitivity, Growth, Reproduction, Excretion and Nutrition.
